Where we are
We are in Via Giovanni Bausan 12, in the Prati/Vatican district. The area of St. Peter, the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, all reachable on foot.
Located opposite the RAI tv studios in Via Teulada and a few steps from LA7 tv studios, the property allows you to walk to the monumental sports complex of the Foro Italico, hosting the Olympic Stadium, and the Central Tennis Stadium.
Through the new bridge of Music-A.Trovajoli take a short walk, you can also reach the new MAXXI- Museum of Contemporary Art and the recent concert hall Auditorium Parco della Musica.
Within walking distance are some of the most renowed night clubs (the famous disco “the Chalet” at P.le dello Stadio Olimpico is within walking distance), restaurants and meeting places (the romantic Milvio Bridge, chained by the padlocks of lovers and overrun by the famous turret of the XVIII century architect Valdier) of the “movida” nightlife Rome meeting point.
The structure is well connected to the public transport system of Rome: a few meters away there is P.le Clodio, the terminus of many bus lines connecting with any part of Rome. Approximately 13 minutes by walk there is the Metro line A stop Ottaviano / St. Peter, ideal starting point (after shopping in the Via Cola di Rienzo shopping district) for wonderful cultural itineraries in the heart of the Eternal City: in a few stops you will find the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Coliseum, the Fori Imperiali.
Within walking distance you will find the Viale Angelico bicycle path which is connected to the cycle paths of Rome.
Located at the foots of Monte Mario Hill the property is surrounded by the homonymous Natural Park, where the Via Francigena pilgrimage route passes through, connecting since many centuries Canterbury (UK) to Rome. The property is also a few minutes drive from the Villa Stuart clinic (also 25 minutes by walk trough the Via Francigena walkway) and the Gemelli Polyclinic.
Few meters also separate Bausan 12 from the Office of the Judge of Peace and by the Ordinary Tribunal of P.le Clodio.

HOW TO GET TO BAUSAN 12
By car:
From the Grande Raccordo Anulare (G.R.A.) highway take Exit 1 “Aurelia” and proceed towards Roma Centro, take Via Baldo degli Ubaldi and continue straight on towards Clodio Square. Once in the square turn to Via Teulada, at the end of the street on the left is Via Giovanni Bausan.
By train:
- From Roma Termini railway station:
- You can easily reach the accommodation by Taxi in less than a 20 min. ride.
- By public means just take the Metro Line A towards “Battistini” and:
OTPION 1 (Metro + feet): get off at Ottaviano / S.Pietro stop. In about 15 minutes on foot you can reach our property.
OPTION 2 (Metro + bus): get off at Lepanto stop, then the buses n° 30 (best option) or 70 to the last stop Piazzale Clodio will bring you 300 meters from the accommodation.
There is a third option (only by bus), not fast but confortable and suitable for turists since it’s extremely panoramic: from Termini station, taking the only n. 70 bus line, in approximately 45/50 min. you will reach the last stop Piazzale Clodio (300 meters from our accommodation) passing through the historical center: You will admire Palazzo del Quirinale, the Quattro fontane, you will cross Piazza Venezia, facing the Altare della Patria with the Coliseum in background, then Largo Argentina and driving trough Corso Rinascimento (next to Piazza Navona) you will brush Palazzo Madama having then a sighteeing to Castel Sant’Angelo.
- From Roma Tiburtina railway station:
- You can easily reach the accommodation by Taxi in a 16 min. ride.
- By public means just take the n. 495 bus line to the last stop Piazzale Clodio, 300 meters far from the accommodation.
Alternatively take the Metro Line B towards “Laurentina”, get off at “Termini” stop then take line A continuing as described above in the Roma Termini case.
By plane:
Fiumicino Airport is connected to Termini Station by the “Leonardo Express” Metropolitan Train, departing from/to the airport every 30 min. with a minimum travel time of 31 min. Once you reach Termini Station you can continue as described above by Metro A. Alternatively, the airport is served by a fixed fare taxi service (50 €) to Piazza Mazzini. From there it is possible to walk comfortably to the property.
Ciampino Airport is connected by an efficient Shuttle bus service to Termini Station and then proceed as described above by Metro A. Alternatively, the airport is served by a fixed fare taxi service (31 €) to Piazza Mazzini. From there it is possible to walk comfortably to the property
